Is eIDAS-compliant signing included in vBoxxCloud?
Yes, eIDAS-compliant signing is built into vBoxxCloud, so your company does not need a separate signing tool for contracts, quotes or agreements. It is available pay per use on Starter, included on Business and unlimited on Enterprise. You send documents for signing from the same workspace where you store them, and the signed version is saved back to the folder you choose.
How does someone sign a contract sent from vBoxxCloud?
The signer receives an email with a link to the contract. They open the document in their browser, review it and sign in the fields you placed. When everyone has signed, the signed contract is saved in vBoxxCloud and each step of the process is recorded in the audit trail, so you can show later how and when the contract was signed.
Where are signed contracts stored?
Signed contracts are stored in vBoxxCloud, in data centres in Germany and The Netherlands. They are saved in the folder you choose, next to the drafts and other files of the same client or project. Folder permissions decide who on your team can open them, and the version history keeps earlier versions of each document.
Can I show a client how a contract was signed?
Yes, every contract signed with eIDAS-compliant signing comes with an audit trail.
