Cloud storage built for the European workplace
Drag, drop, sync. vBoxxCloud gives every team unlimited folders, version history and selective sync, all hosted on certified EU infrastructure.
- Unlimited folder depth and per-folder permissions
- Selective sync on macOS, Windows and Linux
- Version history with one-click restore
- Hosted in The Netherlands and Germany, never in the US
vBoxxCloud's web file manager, drag-and-drop uploads, version history, granular permissions, all hosted in EU-only data centres.
Files that pile up across drives, mailboxes and shadow apps
Teams scatter documents between local drives, email attachments, WhatsApp groups and consumer file-sync apps. That fragmentation costs hours every week, creates duplicate work, exposes confidential files to the wrong people and breaks GDPR data-residency rules the moment a file lands in a US server. vBoxxCloud gives you a single, sovereign workspace where every file has one canonical location, a clear owner and a complete audit trail. Teams also tell us they want predictability: the same folder structure on web, desktop and mobile, the same permissions for guests and contractors, and the same retention rules across departments. A central storage layer makes that possible without forcing a single device or operating system on anyone.
How vBoxxCloud storage works
Drag-and-drop in the browser, sync via desktop client (Windows and macOS, Linux coming soon), or mount as a drive via WebDAV. Files up to 25 GB per file are supported on Business, up to 100 GB on Enterprise.
Create folders per team, project or client. Assign read, write, share or admin rights per user or group, with optional time-based expiry.
Every save creates a new version. Roll back individual files, restore deleted items from trash for 30 days, and export the full audit log for compliance.
Built for the way modern teams work
Per-client folders with strict access groups, automatic archival after a matter closes and a complete trail for billing reviews.
Versioned assets, large file support and desktop sync so creative tools work the same way they do locally.
Shared inboxes for invoices and contracts with retention rules per category and an export to the accounting system on demand.

Frequently asked questions
Where is my data physically stored?+
All vBoxxCloud data is stored in ISO 27001-certified Tier-3 data centres in the Netherlands and Germany. No data leaves the EU at any point, including backups and metadata.
What is the maximum file size I can upload?+
Single files up to 5 GB on Starter, 25 GB on Business and 100 GB on Enterprise are supported via the web uploader, desktop client and WebDAV. There is no cap on the number of files per workspace.
Can I keep version history?+
Yes. Every saved change creates a new version. You can configure retention from 30 days to unlimited, and roll back any file to a previous version with one click.
How does vBoxxCloud handle deleted files?+
Deleted files move to a per-user trash and remain recoverable for 30 days by default. Admins can extend this retention or recover files from server-side backups for up to 12 months.
Can I migrate from another provider?+
Yes. Our migration team can move data from OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox or any S3-compatible source, including permissions and version history where possible. Migrations under 1 TB are typically free.
Does vBoxxCloud work offline?+
Yes. The desktop client keeps a local cache of selected folders and syncs changes when you reconnect. Conflicts are resolved automatically and a copy of both versions is kept.
