Two-factor authentication adds a layer of security designed to ensure that you are the only one who has access to your account, even if someone knows your password.
What makes two-step authentication safer?
Databases of passwords are regularly hacked and sold to other parties, who use those passwords to log in to your account. When two-step verification is activated, a password alone is not enough, and you keep the hackers out.

To better protect your cloud, we recommend always enabling two-step verification. These functions are included for free.
- Per user: each user can activate two-step verification individually and choose how they prefer to receive the code.
